Let’s begin with the founder Dr. Craig Gilling. He is a 1991 graduate of Life College and went through many different situations in the early years of practice. Starting as an independent contractor, then sharing office space and eventually opening his own practice. He then settled in a small resort community in Northern Michigan. When we say small, we mean a population of 4200 people with eight chiropractors already in practice in this town. Once open the practice guessed its way to 125 weekly visits. Then something big happened. Dr. Gilling attended his first practice systems seminar and after that everything changed. With a system in place his practice began to grow and six months later he was seeing 325 weekly visits. It wasn’t long before it was 400, then 450 and eventually 500.
During this time Dr. Gilling decided to expand his business by using his system to open other practices. Eventually each practice saw its own success and HealthZone Chiropractic was born. Dr. Gilling then began to help other new doctors become successful. His goal was to help these doctors succeed in their first try while working towards ownership of their own practice; many of these doctors reached their goal in as little as one year.

To further expand the HealthZone Chiropractic network, Dr. Gilling has begun to partner with successful chiropractors in different states. This strategy improves the strength of HealthZone Chiropractic and offers many opportunities to its chiropractors.

Dr. Woolard started his practice in May of 1995, as a solo practitioner. He soon outgrew his first location and moved into a larger, peaceful space. His current clinic is family oriented and is designed as open adjusting. It also features the latest in advanced computerized technology.
His practice has grown to nearly 400 people a week with help of one associate. His largest collections month was near $70,000.
He is very passionate about coaching and mentoring doctors to the success they deserve without the starvation period he went through. Dr. Woolard struggled for several years in his early practice. Eventually he took the advice of a friend and sought out the help of a coach.
Because he has endured challenges and difficulties himself, he understands the obstacles Chiropractors face, the pain involved, and the indecision that can follow.
Dr. Woolard speaks often to groups about chiropractic and also sponsors a Saturday Night Live event annually to inspire, educate, and uplift fellow Chiropractors. |
